Grameenpolis
Grameenpolis explores a model of rural development that introduces urban amenities without losing the spatial character and community relationships of village life. The proposal envisions a self-sufficient village center where everyday needs, public life, and local livelihoods coexist.
Scope
Rural Urbanism

Approach
The project explores how the accessibility and infrastructure of urban centers can be adapted to a rural setting. Its planning approach emphasizes walkability, mixed uses, shared community spaces, and the relationship between settlement patterns and surrounding agricultural landscapes.
Intervention
A pedestrian-oriented village center brings together local markets, community facilities, gathering spaces, and low-rise development around a network of public streets and courtyards. The proposal creates a framework for growth while maintaining connections to town life.
